Nearly 60 people attended the 2019 Black Women in Architecture Brunch on September 21.
The event was held at the historic Octagon House in downtown Washington DC with the Architects Foundation as an event sponsor.

In addition to a buffet brunch with mimosas, attendees were treated to career insight from an engaging panel including,

Dr. Hazel Edwards – Professor and Chair, Department of Architecture at Howard University
Natasha Mosley – Director, Single Family Development at The Menkiti Group
Nearly $2,000 in event proceeds will go to the Desiree Cooper ARE Scholarship. The fund currently provides scholarships for those who need financial assistance to complete the architecture licensure process.
